John P. Mastropietro

John Mastropietro has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. He started his professional career as a registered architect in New York City and subsequently obtained his law degree. Mr. Mastropietro now practices as an attorney at the construction litigation firm that he founded in 2003. The firm's practice consists of construction-related matters including claims, contract negotiations and litigation. Mr. Mastropietro was a professor at New York University's School of Continuing & Professional Studies - Construction Contracts & Claims. On numerous occasions, he has lectured on contract and design/construction claim issues for Lorman Educational Services. Mr. Mastropietro has also served as a guest lecturer for the AIA at its regional seminars and state and national conventions, as well as at seminars for the Society of American Engineers and the New York State Society of Professional Engineers, Inc.
